This page explains how JPlaisance uses information submitted on its website, remembers your choices and offers optional audience measurement.
Who is responsible for your data?

When you contact us
The contact form collects your name, company if applicable, email address, optional phone number and message. These details allow us to respond and discuss your project. Processing is based on the pre-contractual steps you request or, for general enquiries, JPlaisance’s legitimate interest in replying.
When sending is enabled, your message is delivered to JPlaisance’s mailbox. The form does not create a prospect database on the website. Access is restricted to authorised people and necessary hosting and email providers, including O2Switch. Correspondence is kept while handling the enquiry and subsequently according to commercial follow-up needs and applicable legal obligations. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to respond.
Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a file saved by your browser. Local storage can also remember information in that browser. You can use this website without accepting audience measurement.
Your privacy choice
The local storage entry jplaisance-privacy-choice records acceptance or refusal of analytics, the choice date and its expiry. It contains no tracking identifier. Both acceptance and refusal are remembered for six months. This storage is used only to respect your decision without asking again on every page.
Necessary administration cookies
Signing into the WordPress administration may use WordPress login and security cookies. These authenticate the administrator and protect access; they do not provide advertising measurement of your browsing.
Google Analytics 4: only with your consent
Audience measurement helps JPlaisance understand which pages are visited and how the website is used, so it can be improved. It relies on your consent. The Google Analytics tag is downloaded only after acceptance. When you refuse, this integration makes no Google Analytics requests, including cookieless requests.
After acceptance, Google may process pages viewed, event times, browser and device information and analytics cookie identifiers. Your IP address is involved in the technical connection to Google. Contact form contents are not sent to Analytics. This integration sends page addresses without query parameters or fragments. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled by this integration.
The analytics cookies used are _ga and _ga_*. This integration limits their lifetime to six months without automatically renewing them on every page. Retention of event data within the Analytics property is separately governed by the settings in JPlaisance’s Google Analytics account.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited. Processing outside the European Union may occur under Google’s services and transfer mechanisms. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s data processing terms for information about processing, safeguards and recipients.
Accept, refuse or change your mind
The welcome banner lets you accept all, reject all or customise your choice. Analytics is off by default. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement and deletes accessible Analytics cookies on this domain. It does not retrospectively delete data already processed.
Your rights
Depending on your situation, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise your rights, email info@jplaisance.com. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
Links to other websites
Manufacturer and social network links open separate websites. Their own privacy and cookie policies apply when you visit them. Their content is not automatically embedded on this page.
Presentation version
The local version is used to review the website before publication. It does not send Google Analytics data, even if you accept analytics. The Analytics property connection and its settings must be checked before activation on the public website.
