As part of our services of maintenance of boats and yacht management in the Var, our team recently intervened in Sainte-Maxime to proceed to the replacement of membranes of a desalinizer Dessalator 100 L/H, installed on board an elegant Prestige 590.

Pre-diagnosis and system control
Before any operation, our technicians performed a complete diagnostic of the Dessalator system: checking pressure, hydraulic connections, pre-filter condition and flow rate. The finding is that the membranes had advanced wear, affecting the quality of the water produced by the desalinizer.
Replacement of Dessalator membranes
We replaced the two osmotic membranes, respecting the manufacturer's recommendations. The operation includes:
- Purging and depressurizing the circuit
- Dispose of worn membranes
- Cleaning of the high pressure housing
- Installation of new membranes and re-introduction
A complete system test was performed at the end of the procedure to check the flow rate, the quality of the water produced (TDS) and the sealing of the fittings.
